 What does it cost? Charges vary dependant on exact requirements, but in general there is a £5.00 charge for setting up geographical area codes (01, 02, 01242, etc.) and an £8.00 per month line rental. With each number, you get one inbound and one outbound line, and ten internal extensions. The Virtual Centrex service (which gives you the facility to make VoIP calls on your number and provides your virtual PBX) is included in the cost of the line rental. Calls that you make are charged as follows: • VoIP to VoIP calls are always free. • VoIP to PSTN calls other than 0800 numbers are charged per minute, according to our VoIP call tariff - for example, 1.25p/minute for calls to geographic numbers in the UK, and 12p/minute to mobiles. • Calls that you forward or divert are charged according to where the redirect goes (eg. BT landline or Mobile network). You will also need to buy a VoIP-enabled handset, and have a broadband Internet connection, for which separate charges apply (E247 can, additionally, provide both of these). How does VoIP save you money? • Firstly, when you call another VoIP Line, e.g another E247 customer or a subscriber on a service we connect to, the call is FREE. So your internal company calls are now free. • Secondly, when you call another phone we charge very low rates. Just 1.25 ppm (pence per minute) for a UK call, from 12 ppm for a mobile call, with 35 countries world wide at just 1.5 ppm. • Thirdly, VoIP Services are cheaper to buy and maintain. Rather than spending several thousand pounds on an office phone system, you just pay a low monthly line rental. VoIP call tariff In addition to the charges listed below, you can call 35 of the main western countries for just 1.5 ppm. Important Notes: There are two types of charges for our VoIP Service. Firstly, if applicable, we have monthly line rental for using the service. Secondly, when you make a phone call from your VoIP phone to a normal telephone we will charge you for the call, according to the rates below. Please note we bill by the second, and there is a minimum call charge of 1.5 pence on all calls, except freephone calls. Prices quoted do not include VAT. Inbound calls to 0800 numbers cost 3 ppm. Calls which are diverted to land lines are charged at standard rates. |
